Refund policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.
Eligibility for Returns
You may request a return if:
- The product you received is damaged, defective, or incorrect; or
- The product is not as described on our website.
Lanyards included with Rivery Zero knives are complimentary and cannot be returned or refunded separately.
To be eligible for a return:
- You must contact us within 14 days of receiving your order at orders@pocketperfection.co.za.
- The product must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition that you received it.
- If returning a Rivery Zero knife, all included items (lanyard, stickers, quick start guide, spare serrated blade, etc.) must be returned in original condition.
- Proof of purchase (your order confirmation or invoice) is required.
Once your return has been approved, we will provide you with return instructions and courier details.
Change of Mind Returns
If you wish to return a product for reasons other than damage, defect, or error (for example, if you change your mind), you may do so within 14 days of receiving your order. In these cases:
- The item must be unused and in its original condition and packaging.
- The return shipping cost is the customer's responsibility.
- Refunds will exclude a R100 handling and repacking fee.
We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Products
If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 14 days of receipt at orders@pocketperfection.co.za. We will arrange for the item to be collected at our cost and will either replace the product or issue a full refund, depending on your preference and stock availability.
Refunds
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you by email that we have received your returned item and inform you whether your refund has been approved. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 5–10 working days. Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
Exchanges
If you would like to exchange your item for another product or variant, please contact us at orders@pocketperfection.co.za. Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If the requested item is no longer available, we will process a refund instead.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Items that have been used, damaged, or altered after delivery.
- Items returned without original packaging or proof of purchase.
- Clearance or sale items marked as “non-returnable” at the time of purchase.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund within 10 working days of approval, please first check with your bank or card provider. If the issue persists, contact us at orders@pocketperfection.co.za and we will assist.
Return Shipping
Please do not send any items back without first contacting us for return authorisation. Items returned without prior arrangement may not be processed. When returning items at your own cost, we recommend using a trackable courier service. We cannot be held responsible for returned items lost in transit.
